Shortcuts

These are the default keys. Most keys can be changed in Tools › Shortcuts… (Ctrl+Alt+K). For how to change them, see “Shortcuts window” in Settings. The parentheses next to menu items show the actual current keys.

When the cursor is in a text field (Console, search, name fields, etc.), editing shortcuts are disabled. Click the viewport once to enable them again. Only the keys in the “When the cursor is in a text field” table below keep working.

Pressing a tool key also switches the toolbar mode to that tool’s mode. 1–3 · 5–7 are Block brush, 4 · 8 are Selection, and T is Landscape.

Text editing keys such as Ctrl+A · C · V · X · Z · Y belong to the text field.

Ctrl+Z · Ctrl+Y · Ctrl+Shift+Z · Ctrl+S · Ctrl+C · Ctrl+V · Del · Esc and the camera fly keys (W A S D Q E Space) cannot be changed in the Shortcuts window. All other default keys can be changed.
