MCP tool list

This is the full list of tools an AI can call through AI connection (MCP). Tool names and argument names are written in English exactly as in the code. For setup, see AI connection (MCP).

MarkerMeaning
*argumentA required argument.
ReadDoes not change the world.
LiveWorks only while the editor is open (live mode).
1 stepRecorded as one undo step.
  • Coordinates are in blocks: x = east, y = up, z = south. min · max are the two corners of a box (both inclusive).
  • Write blocks as stone_bricks · oak_stairs[facing=east]. Missing properties use their defaults.
  • Patterns mix by ratio, as in 70%stone,30%andesite, or use a height gradient with grad(y: a→b→c).
  • set_blocks · fill · shape · replace · transform · build · generate have an additional connect argument. It defaults to true and connects fences · glass panes · iron bars · walls · stair corners to their neighbors.
  • Many editing tools have a name argument. It is the actor name shown in the Outliner.
